Sponsor of Tinsel Tree Fundraiser
|
Camden House a non-profit organization in Saint Marys which helps both men, women and families get back on their feet after abusive circumstances began the Tinsel Tree Fundraiser at Waterfront Park in 2021. This fundraiser benefits Camden House by asking community businesses, non-profits and groups to sponsor a tree in which they decorate during the holidays. Our organization is proud to have sponsored a tree for the past two years. It is a festive event when the lighted trees are lit from early December to early January. Tinsel Tree Trail had 40 trees sponsored in 2021 up from 20+ the previous year. Thanks to all those who helped decorate and take down the decorations when it is time to say goodbye to the holiday season.

2023 Camden House Tinsel Trail
This year the Club decided to get a bigger tree since monies raised by this display at Waterfront Park benefits Camden House. First, we made ornaments that represent the club as a gardening group. We made floral ornaments using small pots and also had trowels and garden forks which we hung on the tree. We also added decorations that were used in prior years. This year's tree has more than 400 lights. Thanks to all who contributed their time in making the ornaments and decorating our tree this year.
