Welcome to the St. Marys Garden Club Website
St. Marys Garden Club, located in historic St. Marys, Georgia, was established in 1999. If you are new to town, Garden Club is a great way to make friends while working on one of our many projects. If you have lived here for many years, it is a great way to make new friends.
Our club offers a wide variety of activities, in addition to our meetings. We maintain several small gardens around town, decorate the foyer and staircase at Orange Hall for the holidays, create items to sell at our plant sale and other occasions, and award a monthly Beautification Award to homes and businesses. Our Earth Angels work with second graders at local schools, and we sponsor a junior garden club at one of the schools. We also participate in National Garden Week, Arbor Day, and create a scarecrow for Hay Days. See our list of committees and projects in our Handbook for activities that may interest you.
St. Marys Garden Club is a member of the Garden Club of Georgia, the Deep South Region and National Garden Clubs. And open to both women and men. We invite you to come to a meeting to see if you’d be interested in joining our group. Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month at 1:00 pm. We meet at the fellowship hall of First Presbyterian Church, 100 Conyers St., St. Marys. Guests are always welcome. Members and guests are invited to bring a lunch to the Brown Bag Meet and Greet before the meeting (12:15 pm approximately).
We may occasionally change our meeting location, so please check our Calendar for current information.
New members are always welcome! We would love to have you join us!
