After our meeting members made Christmas cards. Thanks to Angel who brough this fun activity to our attention and to Gail F for scheduling this workshop. This was a fun kit project which was so enjoyable by all who participated. We all took our creations home. If you were unable to attend this fun meeting, you can also learn how to do this by contacting Cyndee Olsen off Harriet’s Bluff Rd who has classes in her home monthly. Garden Club members celebrated the new year with a field trip and lunch. Ron Sutton and his wife Rhetta invited us to their yard to see his collection of over 100 camellia bushes in addition to citrus and grapes. Ron gave a demonstration on air rooting camellias. Gail presented our hosts with a camellia to add to their garden. Our trip concluded with lunch at Creative Catering. |
